"The staff were friendly and the breakfast was simple (green salad, two egg fries, bread with butter and jam, fruits, and a pot of coffee or black tea) but delicious. "The owner who was only the other person there was very kind and drove me up to the bus stop with my heavy luggage in very snowy, icy conditions, beautiful views, winter wonderland of snow and ice. incredible views."

"Really enjoyed our short stay and visiting this area. Walkable distance from the station and lake. A full Japanese-style breakfast was beautifully presented with some alternatives also on offer - fruit, eggs, bacon etc. We visited in May when the hotel and Suwa generally were very quiet so we were able to enjoy the hotel facilitie - the modern reception area and onsen. Good size room with twin beds. Go for one with a lake view if possible."

"コテージに泊まりましたが古いだけでなくすえたようなカビ臭いような匂いが最悪でした。 押入れの布団も臭くて古いし不潔。 掲載されている写真では、トイレ洗面などの水回りやユニットバスもリニューアルされているかのように見えますが、20年前位のかなり古いものでした。いくら夏休み期間とはいえ2泊朝食のみで16万（犬の宿泊は別）に見合うと思えません。ホスピタリティもゼロ。"
