Great location. Uncomfortable Service was outstanding. Staff was wonderful. However the fact that you have to shower in three inches of water and the air conditioning literally made me ill (very obviously hasn’t been cleaned in a decade) took away from the experience. The location is premier, right by an MRT stop and walking distance from Taipei Main Station. The check in time is extremely strict and I wasn’t allowed to check in 20 min before their check in time, which isn’t usually a big deal in most hotels… I mean, 20 min… really? They offered to hold my luggage but they do not put it away in a room or a closet, they just leave it sitting in the middle of the lobby for anyone to take. Not a great first impression. Elevator is slower than Christmas, the hallway carpets desperately need to be redone, and the shower temperature fluctuates uncomfortably. Property refused to refund the unused nights. Stayed at a different 3 star property and the difference is astounding.
