« The room was clean and bed comfortable. The ceiling had cracks in it and along the outside wall there was black areas at the top where the ceiling meet the wall. « Our stay was not great. The hotel and room both smelled like dog, the room was not especially clean, and we had ants in our room. The bathroom door frame was loose and made a very loud noise every time the door opened. Breakfast was also sub-par. The biggest concern was that staff told someone else what room we were staying in. « Nichole was so helpful. We were arriving after 7:30pm and she suggested the J Huston Tavern in Arrow Rock for dinner. She also made our check in after hours easy. This Hotel is lovely and the gardens were beautiful. We loved this historic hotel and the Railroad History. We slept in a comfortable post bed. It was more than a hotel it was also a museum for us. Recommend, recommend and recommend. »
