« Sevice was great. everyone was helpful, smiling, made us feel welcome. However, a was absolutely shocked by the amount of single use plastic : everything was plastic, and no recycling bin could be seen. Disposable coffee cups wrapped in individual plastic bags ; disposable breakfast cutellery, disposable plastic glasses in rooms, etc.
I would have loved to be able to, at least, recycle all the plastic I used, and even better would be the implementation of reusable glasses, plates, etc. »

« I arrived after dark and the hotel and the village were like a magical New England winter scene with sparkling lights everywhere. The proximity of the hotel to a typical New England church and numerous white painted wooden framed structures was a scene from our historical heritage. The hotel was reopened less than a year ago after extensive renovations. The outcome is a GEM. Decorations deserve an A+. »

« I stayed here with my daughter and her two sons, ages 1/1/2 and 4 1/2. We had a terrific time; enjoyed the lake, the boats, the fire pit and the peaceful and beautiful environment. Jim was close by and helpful. I did think it odd that we had to purchase our own firewood as there were several piles of wood in the yard. »
