Sweet Cherry is a beautiful studio cottage in the heart of Suttons Bay, perfect for two. Open year-round, this retreat has all the comforts of home. Spacious living/dining/sleeping area plus one bathroom. Sleeps up to three.

There is a queen-sized bed plus an aero bed air mattress. The home is equipped with a modern mini-kitchen and a Smart TV.

West Grand Traverse Bay is just across the side street. Sit out on the small patio and enjoy the water view. In the summer, enjoy the close by beautiful sandy beach and marina. The Suttons Bay Library is steps away and welcomes guests to check out books and videos. Thinking of bringing a couple of friends? Rent Little Legal Beagle or Front Cottage that are on the same property as Sweet Cherry. No driving is necessary here, restaurants, shops, and even the movie theater are within walking distance. Drive about 20 minutes to Traverse City and 30 minutes to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Head north and try your luck at the Leelanau Sands Casino.

Your well-mannered dog is welcome. Linens are provided. Mini split for A/C and heat.

Perfect for two!

It is a comfortable and very attractive little cottage. We enjoyed the fact that we could cook a meal. They are not have to go out every time. The location is wonderful and we plan to come back in the fall. Thank you.

Perfect Location and want to come back!

We loved it! Everything was as listed, bed was comfortable and there was an air mattress provided for a second place for someone to sleep. We did stay during the "off season" but talked about booking again "in season" when TC and Sutton's Bay are in full swing!

Great Stay for Fall Colors

Very cute cottage in a great location in Suttons Bay. Short walk to docks, beach and town. We hit this at just the right time for a fall color long weekend. Definitely would recommend.

Perfect location, little TLC

Cute cottage, 2nd time staying there as the location is perfect, however the property needs a little TLC. Did not sit on the patio as the shrubs are overgrown and the small trellis for privacy is full of water and attracts bugs. Just a little attention to detail inside and out would make this property amazing!

A Great Place to Stay!

The red shutter cottage was an ideal place for us to stay for 4 nights in Sutton Bay. It has an ideal location just steps from restaurants, shops and a park which made everything easily accessible. The cottage is a very cute and cheery place that was clean, quiet and filled with all mentioned amenities. Communication with management was easy and they checked in with us to see that our stay was comfortable. Without reservation I highly recommend this VRBO location .

A few little things...

It was difficult getting the lock box open but quite easy to get the key back and the box locked when I left. The almost white carpet on the entire floor probably needs rethinking. Or there should be large mats in the kitchen area. I was extra careful because I noted there was no carpet spot cleaner under the sink. There is a large throw rug in the living room, but it has a large raised wrinkle in the center that is a tripping hazard. I would have smoothed it out, but the bed and sofa both rested on that rug and couldn't lift either. The amenities in the description says that the unit has wifi, but that's not quite true. Either point out clearly that internet access isn't always available or boost whatever access you have now. You do tell the truth in the info you sent to me 2 days before going up north, but that was a little too late. Lots of other residents near the cottage have wifi, so it is do-able. Other than that, my stay was great. My dog felt immediately comfortable and did not find any places in the cottage where other dogs may have had left their mark. She, of course, was perfect, but she has never had an accident since the first week I got her 5 years ago. The newly opened dog park was nice, as was access to the beach. She was a rock star when we walked past the shops down the street. Lots of people asked to pet her. And we were able to go into quite a few shops where she got even more attention. So, darling cottage and very pleasant town.
