  • Heated private pool is SEASONAL. It is OPEN!
    Comfy home in a nice setting. King size bed in Master w/private bath, access to porch.
    Jacuzzi and sauna on porch. PRIVATE Swimming pool only for number of guests in your reservation. (seasonal - pool should be open Memorial Day - September or October).

    3 bedroom (Master King, 2nd and 3rd bedroom Queen) Sleeps 6 in beds, can accommodate 8 with notice, any additional are $100 per person per night; 2 bath, linens/towels provided. Cable tv. WiFi.
    Propane firepit. Do not move it from its location.
    Full kitchen with appliances and extras, microwave, range, oven, refrigerator w/ice maker, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, coffee pot (no pods), waffle maker, can opener. Too many to list.
    Our shop is the building behind the outside seating and is the entire inside area behind grill area. During the week (and occasionally on Saturday), we load up from the shop and check back in when done.
    We check pool chemicals regularly when in season!

VIR Weekend

Once again we enjoyed our stay during the annual VIR Speed Tour weekend. Good to connect with family and friends who enjoy time at VIR while also spending time with so many amenities and a genuinely comfortable place to stay.

Great stay at a great property with fantastic hosts! Mark and Rona are ultra responsive and accommodating and the home is very nice. Enjoyed the pool to cool off after a day at the races. Will stay again.

My family stayed here for my son’s graduation and had a cookout after, property was in a great setting with a great space for our family to enjoy the pool and outdoor kitchen. We will be back. Great time had by all!

Comfortable, quiet and relaxing home

The home had everything we needed, was very clean and comfortable. It was a quiet neighborhood with everything within 15 miles from us. The owners are the best. They are so helpful with whatever you need and I felt like we made a couple of new friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed the outside area. The pictures did not do this justice. The pool was perfect and the hosts were amazing. Think this might be a new summer tradition.

Family fun

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was comfortable and well stocked. There was enough room for the 6 of us. We all loved the pool and outside area. Our grandchildren had a great time. I enjoyed my conversation with Roona and Mark. They were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this home. Thanks for a fun relaxing vacation.

The property is lovely, and the outside ammenties were wonderful. The pool and hot tub were clean and ready to use. There were extra towels and blankets ready for use as well, which was very nice. The grill space outside was impressive, though we didnt have time to make use of it this trip. The living room spaces were large and perfect for movie watching, seating everyone with ease. And the travel distance to VIR was perfect. The porch area had numerous spiders and webs that had to be cleared to traverse outside. And even with keeping the kitchen clean, ants were an immediate problem when meals were cooked or brought in. We had ordered pizza and before we could get seconds, there were already ants inside the pizza boxes. We weren't sure where sleeping 8 was calculated, as there are only the three beds. With 6 of us, we thought we'd have plenty of space, but had to settle sleeping arrangements, beds vs couches. We brought coffee to utilize the coffee maker, but there were no mugs or suitable cups to use. Pot/pan selection was also limited, but doable.

Birthday

Celebrating my son's 35th birthday at VIR for the SVRA annual classics. Home was perfect for our group of friends and family. Easy ride to the racetrack and comfortable accommodations. Property managers are a wonderful couple.

Great place to stay, comfortable, plenty of room. A bit far from VIR but most places are. Clean, though there were some fruit flies that were annoying.

Off the path getaway

Stayed for an extended weekend to attend a race at VIR - about 30 minutes away. We were two couples in our 60's and enjoyed having space to move around. The pool was warm and lots of outdoor space available. Appliances seemed newer and worked well. The entire property could use some TLC and updating.

Great visit again!!

This is our 3rd year staying at this house and we had a great time once again. Ronda and Mark are great hosts and once again did not disappoint. Our goal each year is to relax to the fullest and we are able to do that here and enjoy the pool! Thanks again for a great visit and we will see you next year!

Great times!

This year there was a glitch the the pool. Working in vacation rentals for 20 years, I did not fret as it was something totally out of control of the owner. We had use two inflatable pools that still keep us cooled off and being with friends was the best part of all. So if you are fortunate to still have many friends and family, never let material things ruin spending time together. Materialistic things can be fixed or replaced. Friends and family cannot.

Peaceful & Relaxing

Rhonda & Mark Excellent location for rest and relaxation. If you wanted to shop, North Carolina was an hour away. If you wanted to explore some of Virginia’s battlefields and history not far either. Enjoyed local places for spa treatments as well. truly a wonderful vacation for all of us! Will be returning for sure!

Had a blast

Owners were very friendly, house had EVERYTHING we needed, bonus that the pool happened to be open, spent a great weekend on the deck and patio in and out of the pool and hot tub with all my girls (only complaint I can say we had was that the owners did show up a few times unannounced during our second day to do pool maintenance and that the house description did not mention that he works out of the garage and could be showing up) otherwise they were very friendly and informative and we had an amazing weekend

Great weekend

We had a great weekend at your house. Everything was so close. It was very peaceful. The view was amazing especially at night when I took some time just for myself in the jacuzzi. It was so relaxing just sitting there watching the stars. We were even great by Mark when we got there to show us around and make sure we had everything. We can't wait to come back and be able to use the beautiful pool. Thank you again for a great and fun relaxing weekend!!!

It was our second visit to this property. Yes, we had a small issue, but Mark and Ronda were quick to respond, even at the late hour. Thanks for providing a place spacious and comfortable enough for us to enjoy. We had everything we needed and more. Looking forward to come back for a 3rd stay ASAP!
