Private pet-friendly lakefront vacation home with a private dock on Smith Mountain Lake! Enjoy iconic view of the SML dam from this showstopper home.
You'll see why this amazing lakefront home was featured in the SML Charity Home Tour. This is the ideal spot for a vacation with all the views, amenities and comforts SML has to offer.
This three-story home has 3 comfortable bedrooms, 4 spa-like bathrooms and well-furnished dining and living spaces. Enjoy a reading library, playing the many board games, the patio swing and a private exercise area. If you need to slip in some work, there's also an office.
Head to the private dock on a private cove that's perfect for sunning, swimming, kayaking, floating, fishing, and picnicking! Tie up your own boat or a rental from one of the many area providers. Average water depth at the dock is 16 feet.
Just a few short minutes from the Smith Mountain Lake State Park, waterfront marinas, gas docks and restaurants.
Beds: 3 King/2 Queen
Per Bedford County regulations, occupancy is limited to 6 persons.

Not worth the price

This house is showing its age and is in a remote location. We had to drive 20 minutes to get to any restaurant. The pool is in a warm, humid room that also contains the exercise equipment. The hot tub is in a separate warm, humid room from the living area. We did not use either.

Great house!

Lots to do. Unfortunately it was very cold over spring break this year but the hot tub and pool were great to supplement. We also took a green light for the dock and watched the fish at night. Very clean and very well appointed kitchen. No need to bring anything! Will definitely stay again. Would like to speak with the owners if they could contact me privately via email that would be great!

Exceeded Expectations!

Great house with a fantastic view. Furnishings were very nice and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Everything that we had hoped for and more! Thanks to the owners and the management company for providing my family with a great vacation.

Family Thanksgiving

This SML home was perfect for our family to gather for the holiday! The location is lovely and the view (sunrise to sunset) was “priceless!!! The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking our feast and having the extra appliances down stairs was a plus in preparing our multiple favorite dishes! The beds were very cozy and the linens were excellent for bed and bath! It was a great, spacious home and we would enjoy visiting when we could take advantage of the lovely surroundings outside! We will look forward to returning to Lake Allure sooner rather than later! JB

Incredible Views in peaceful setting

I highly recommend this property. The views are spectacular and the location is private and serene. The landscaping around all sides of the house is really nice and is great for bird-watching. The house was well-stocked with cooking supplies, spices, etc. There were several "hotel" touches and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. There were a ton of books everywhere, that were thoughtfully grouped by subject, as well as CD's and DVD's. A couple of items to note: There are a lot of stairs...both in the house and going down to the dock so this property may not be suitable for those that have problems navigating stairs. We could not find remote controls for the TV's in the bedrooms and could not figure out how to use the TV in the family room downstairs as the technology was a bit dated and not a smart TV nor connected to cable/satellite (at far as we could tell). The dock has ceiling fans, a microwave, mini-fridge, and lots of seating. The breeze at the dock was incredible and we spent sun-up 'till sundown swimming, lounging and reading at the dock. There are not many restaurants or grocery stores near by, and most close early, so be sure to bring what you need food-wise and check the resturant websites for closing times.

Beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The pictures are so accurate - the views were unbeatable and it was a lovely and quiet area so we could relax well. The property had everything we needed and more. A lot of details were well thought out and just made it a very pleasant stay. We're already planning to be back again for a longer vacation!
