Hotel Bifrost
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were very friendly. The room was furnished as if they wanted you to feel at home. You could tell there was some age on things, but wasn’t dilapidated."
Hotel Husafell
10/10 Excellent
"Great facility, very helpful attentive staff and excellent food (both breakfast and dinner)! Only suggestion for morning Buffett -add a coffee machine and/or large thermos of drip coffee. With only one machine queue can be long and time consuming just for a cup"

"Perfect stop for a quick stay in the area. Views from the dining area are beautiful. The breakfast buffet (included!) was just right to start the day. The rooms are pretty basic but are set up for Northern Lights viewing."

"It was a wonderful place to stay in a remote way station of Iceland. It was an almost two hour drive from the airport, with the latest 5-6 miles down a nicely maintained black gravel road. Once there we loved it and the kind and helpful owners and managers."
