Almost Heaven - Oceanfront Home - Private Pool with Jacuzzi!

Welcome to Almost Heaven, a dazzling oceanfront home perfect for your next beach getaway. The home features a very well-equipped kitchen with upgraded appliances and a 12 x 25 private pool with jacuzzi (water kept at normal pool temperature; not a hot tub). Relax on the spacious deck, or enjoy the downstairs game room. Additional amenities include high-speed WiFi, expanded cable, TVs and ceiling fans in all 4 bedrooms, outdoor furniture, ice machine, gas grill, and an enclosed outdoor shower.

Included with Weekly Rentals:
- Beds are made upon arrival — this home comes ready for bed for a stress-free start to your vacation.
- Bed linens (beds in bedrooms only), towels, and bath mats provided for weekly rentals
- Welcome Amenity Bag with starter toilet paper, paper towels, a kitchen kit, and a bathroom kit.
(Guests should plan to bring or purchase additional supplies once starter items are used.)

Pool can be heated upon advance notice for a fee (except during June–August). Pools are heated to a maximum of 87–88°F and can only maintain 8–10°F above the outside temperature. Pool heaters cannot operate if the outside temperature is below 55°F.

Overall good stay

Nice up to date oceanfront property with great pool! Great outdoor shower. Things needing improvements- “game room” needs updated with working games and tables. Two of four beds are really uncomfortable and squeak loud with any movement. Plastic pillows are hard, would recommend bringing your own. Thick dust and hair/sand upon check in, we just cleaned prior to settling in. Had an issue with the breaker blowing when drying hair and called the after hours office at 10 PM and no one came to turn the electricity back on in that room/tv/internet until the next day around 1 PM. Overall family had fun and enjoyed location.

Great Beach Week!

We’ve stayed at lots of beach houses but this was our first in Holden Beach. We really wanted Oceanfront with a pool — and while we would have loved some more common space and a legit dining room table, the ease of one-level living was pretty amazing. We were able to pop out to the beach for a sunrise coffee then pop in to grab a towel. For those with kids, there was also a safety gate to keep kids from the downstairs pool and a gate to the beach walk. This was a nice surprise bc we didn’t notice this in the pictures. The one thing I would say is that the game room downstairs is a little musty — the kids didn’t mind, but it’s not a place where you’re likely to “hang”. A few other FYIs... - not much for kitchen stuff (only 1 tiny pot in the house, only 4 plastic cups, lots of glasses, knives are very dull) - the provision company is awesome! - the ice cream shop had a great porch

Perfect Beachfront property with private pool

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “Almost Heaven”! We stayed in Mid-May and a cold front had come through the prior week. We chose to have the pool heated and it was a great decision. We all thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool. It was a great back up since the ocean was chilly. The house is only steps from the beach and we enjoyed our walks on the beach and bocce ball. We also loved going to Haley’s ice cream!! The house had plenty of amenities and the house was well stocked.

Would stay again!

We had a great week at this house. The location is quite far down the island and near a public beach access. The house itself is beautifully decorated. The wide decks and rocking chairs were perfect for relaxing, rocking a baby, and watching the kids in the pool. The pool must be heated because it was so nice and warm. This was not listed on the amenities, though. The pool has some great lights that make the water look colored and the kids loved that. The first step into the pool is very wide, and our baby enjoyed sitting in the water there and splashing. There are plenty of deck chairs, and you can get out of the sun under the upper deck. The bottom floor area had a fantastic ice maker that we used throughout our stay to fill coolers. Awesome TV down there too. But, it smelled very musty in there, so we didn't use it much. I know with the environment there's bound to be some moisture, but this was a strong odor. The huge kitchen island was where we gathered often, and the kitchen was very well stocked. We could've gone without bringing our own trash bags, ziplock bags, paper towels, coffee filters, or anything extra to cook with. There is a Keurig and a standard coffee maker. The beds were comfy, but the one in the oceanfront left bedroom was a bit noisy. Just a few things that could use attention: the house could use a good dusting along the walls. There are lots of charming architectural elements...but that also means lots of places for dust and hair to gather. The stone floors in the showers could use a deep clean. The front loading washer has some mildew, as they are prone to get. And chefs beware...that oven gets HOT! Watch your food because it will be done and burned faster than you think! Overall, this was one of the nicer houses we have stayed in on Holden Beach, and we would definitely stay again!

Almost Heaven Review

A very nice accommodation for our family with comfortable living quarters and oceanfront access to beach. Property manager was easy to work with and very communicative during COVID-19 changes. Glad we were able to have experience and would rent cottage again.
