It was the perfect spot for some quiet time alone and a soak in the hot tub. The check in process was as simple as it gets, and the owners were very responsive to the few questions we asked. For dinner we went to Springfield VT (about a 30 min drive). You can probably find something a little closer, but Alstead...

"Treacherous path from carbto cabin. Frogs come in through hole in bathroom floor. Place was filthy and sand on everything. Screens do not fit windows, so bugs stream in. The floor is so sloped its difficult to walk. The uneven decking is dangerous. Horrible!"
