The owner was so helpful in providing information prior to our stay – especially the route to get there. The roads are narrow and it’s definitely best to use the route Vida suggests rather than the Sat Nav! The cottage itself was really well equipped and comfortable. Owners went out of their way and on arrival there were milk, coffee, tea, cookies and all the essentials for cooking. Logs and everything required for the log burner there too. Plenty of information available too about things to do locally and further afield as well as directions in and around the village. Plenty of space in all rooms and everything else that you'd need, from wood to make a fire to a few biscuits and tea. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Lovely grounds too. Not too far from the hills for walking or visiting nearby villages and towns. Plenty of local walks too. The pub up the road, The Butchers Arms serves excellent food as well as drinks. All in all, an excellent place to stay.
