Excellent amenities, food and room

I found the Plough and Harrow very charming. I stayed 3 nights; Friday through Sunday. At no time was it noisy or uncomfortable. There are no elevators but since there is only one upper floor, that was no big problem. The hotel wraps around in a horseshoe shape and there are minor steps up and down to get to my room, but another guest told me that I could have gone the other way around, which I never did. The full English breakfast was very nice, and some of my friends had their various cheeses and pastries, coffees, teas, and juices all in the elegant main dining area. Within easy walking distance were several interesting pubs and restaurants. The Physician was notable among them, although the High Field restaurant was also pleasant. Also, within short walking distance is the tram that gets you into town, one way for 2.50 GBP (also known as Quids), or 5 Quid for the day. In town, I went to the Old Crown pub, the oldest in Birmingham, and it did not disappoint.

Lovely stay Lovely hotel with amazing, friendly staff who were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. I stayed in one of the aparthotel rooms within the complex, which was clean, well-equipped and had an incredibly soft and comfortable bed. The only downside for me was the traffic noise, so next time I would probably opt to stay in the main hotel instead. The swimming pool, gym and spa were all lovely and very well-equipped. The pool was quite cold initially, but I soon adjusted to it! There was plenty of parking, with car charging facilities also available. The grounds and golf course are beautiful and really add to the overall experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again.
