"We stayed here one year ago and had a great experience. We decided to come back again because it was so comfortable, and a familiar place to stay while we explored Tahoe again. The positives include: great beds and bedding, nicely renovated rooms, fun ambiance, pool and spa, gym, and super quiet rooms (very little outside noise can be heard.) So, if getting a good night’s sleep is the most important thing to you I would recommend spending the extra money to stay here. The most negative thing to me personally was the valet parking ONLY (no mention of this before you arrive.) It’s pretty expensive if you’re staying more than one night. It was $50 per night for us on top of our $500 two night stay. We’re obviously not familiar with the area so we don’t know if you can park somewhere else nearby without the risk of a tow away. Also, to walk all the way back to a hotel you’re already spending a lot on with a very young baby would’ve been very impractical. We were rushed when we first arrived at valet and treated a bit rudely by the staff. They wanted us to move fast and unload our things or find someplace else to park but offered no help. Not so easy with a 5 month old baby, and we felt stressed out before we even checked in. The other negative part was that our room toilet stopped working at 10pm. Overall, the staff seemed like mostly nice, helpful people but a few weren’t. We probably won’t stay here again, but maybe you’ll have a better experience than us. Best wishes."
