"Wonderful hotel!"
The hospitality was excellent! Miro made us feel welcomed the minute we stepped foot in Croatia. He came to the airport to collect me and my neighbour, dropped us straight to the nearest beach and took our luggage back to the hotel so that we can make use of our short stay in Croatia. The view from this hotel is simply amazing- swinging in the hammock late at night was relaxing!

"Not exactly what we expected"
We needed a one-night place in Split -- at the price, we expected more. It is a decent place with good beach access and facilities. None of the staff that we dealt with spoke English -- our first language, but our secondary languages (Serbo-Croatian, Russian) did make things work. Parking was good.

"Modern and spacious with extremely helpful staff"
We found the apartment an excellent combination of hotel convenience (helpful staff; breakfast brought to your room; bins emptied; towels changed every day) with self-catering comforts (we prepared breakfasts, lunches and dinners at home and space for plenty of ice cream in the freezer!). We had lots of room in a two bed apartment which made for a comfortable holiday for a family, allowing different spaces within the apartment to relax - much more homely than a hotel room. The balcony was nice to have but as the beaches (pebble) were only 5 minutes walk away we didn't use it much. The kitchen was well equipped. The air con kept us cool; it was handy to choose to have it on in either the living/dining space and/or the bedrooms. The on site swimming pool was small and shallow so, good for those with young children but no real space for a proper swim, but again, we strolled to the sea for that. It was also possible to pay a small charge to use the neighbouring hotel's spa but we didn't need it. We tried several different meals out within 10 minutes walk ranging from £5 for a pizza at one to £27 for a bottle of wine at another and all were good. The biggest plus point was the helpful staff - they all spoke English and helped us with different queries every day- where do we get the bus to split; how do we get internet; can we order breakfast; which boat trips would you recommend; how do we pay for parking... all greeted with smiles and clear explanations!

"Good location and facilities"
Thought the hotel was excellent. Good location although nothing much round about. Could possibly see why some people may not be so happy if the room does not look over the sea or marina.

"A very pleasant stay. "
As stated by previous guests, the family who own and run these rooms and apartments are very friendly, helpful and do their best to ensure a very pleasant stay. They even upgraded our room halfway through our stay when a better room became available. The two daughters speak excellent English and were very helpful in giving us a very good summary of the places worth visiting, and if they recommend the local restaurant to you, try it. In our opinion it provided excellent value for money. Their mother also made sure we tried her wonderful home made cakes and pastries on quite a few occasions, and their father encouraged us to eat the pomegranates and figs that he grew in the gardens- wonderful. The apartments were only a short bus ride to the old town centre, and the bus service is easy and cheap to use. A very good beach is a short walk away and there are some superb bars which serve great food lining the beach. The water is brilliant for swimming, very clear and clean but take some beach shoes as (like most of Croatian beaches) there is no sand, just small pebbles which can feel quite sharp underfoot. I think the locals have developed their own leather soles on the bottom of their feet! This is the third time we've been to Croatia, and we'll definitely go again.

"Great experience"
Away from noise conjested down town Split. Across from nice public beach. A new place so everyone is trying hard and succeeding. For those of us who prefer modern conveniences, this was the right choice. Restaurant was very good after a long day of driving. Nice terrace. Great beds and modern bathroom. Two essentials. Easy to get to old town by bus but we drove. No problem parking.

"Nice location right across from the beach"
We had a driver collect us on arrival and he was helpful with advice. Anna who checked us in was lovely and they took us to change money at 10:00pm before taking us to the apartment. Anna helped us book taxis, gave advice and maps and was easy to contact. The apartment is not a hotel, so there is only hand soap. You will need to bring shampoo and toiletries. There is a washing machine, but no detergent, but there is a supermarket about 3 min walk up the road. It was really easy and cheap to get into Split Town centre by bus. We also walked into town and that's about a 35 minute walk along the coast. The beach across the road is lovely and clean. There are restaurants/bars along the beachfront and the lounge chairs and umbrellas are free to their customers. The beach across the road is cleaner than the ones closer to the city centre so we were very pleased with the location.
