We really enjoyed our stay at Fisherman Rest. There was plenty of room for two families to stay. The kids enjoyed the games. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The host was very responsive to our questions.

I want to be completely honest about our experience. After everything we encountered, this property was not fit for us to stay in. The condition of the house was unacceptable, unsanitary, unsafe, and completely different from what we expected when we paid for accommodations for seven people.The house was filthy and run-down, with dirty sheets and linens, not enough towels, bugs, filthy furniture, a broken TV, dirty cabinets and rusty refrigerator, bugs around the sink, disgusting shower curtains, and bathrooms that were not properly equipped. The bedroom doors would not close properly, leaving us without privacy, and other doors and blinds were broken or improperly secured.There were unsafe stairs, uncovered electrical outlets, no proper outdoor lighting, long grass with a snake underneath it, and an infestation of mosquitoes and bugs. The front door had a large gap that allowed mosquitoes to come inside and bite us. The grass was even cut while we were staying there, which should have been taken care of before our arrival.The kitchen was not sanitary for cooking, and there were not enough proper pots and pans for seven people. We were told this was a “Fisherman’s Rest,” but the property was not properly prepared or maintained for people coming to fish and clean scallops.The overall condition of the property was more like a neglected dump than a rental accommodation. It smelled, looked dirty, and was in such poor condition that we were extremely uncomfortable staying
