"The cottage is perfectly located on Chicaugon Lake. It was very, very clean when we arrived and the kitchen is great to cook in. The deck was wonderful. The host was very pleasant and tried to accommodate our needs. That being said, the front door does not latch. You don’t need a code, you just push in the door. The queen mattress and the two twin mattresses are terribly uncomfortable. They are soft and worn out. Military showers are recommended because if you don’t, you may run out of hot water."
"I really enjoyed our stay here! We didn’t know what it would be like but we were so pleasantly impressed. The location made it a perfect place to stay while family members stayed at the campground. There is a beautiful walking trail to get to the beach and campground. This is a great gem! "

"Easy check-in process and good communication. Comfortable home which was updated and suited most of our needs. Great location. First evening was very warm in the bedrooms area. It got to 85 degrees outside. The portable AC unit in the living/kitchen area kept that area cool enough for sure, but did not really cool off the sleeping areas even with the doors open and turning it on upon arrival and keeping it on through the night. It would be great to have a secondary unit in the bedrooms for summertime unexpected heat waves for sleeping, although the rest of the week was much cooler and we didn't need ac after the first night. Host provided needed supplies and was responsive to us. Convenient to town. Would stay again."

"Beautiful cabin fully supplied with everything we needed. Very comfortable, the couches are awesome! Our family of 6 adults enjoyed the hot tub and the space! The front porch is perfect. Wish there were clear views of the river from the cabin but loved the quiet nature! Highly recommend staying here! Easy access to Crystal Falls, Iron River and all the parks in western UP!"
