« It was a little bit difficult to find at first but we're happy once we found it and got in. This is a fun little place to explore and a quick drive into Ruckersville and not a super long commute to Chatlottesville. This was a great little get away! »

« Nice location very close to the wedding we were attending. The house was cute and fit our needs as we were traveling with family. Appreciated that we could bring our pets along. Loved the hot tub. The fenced in yards were helpful. A couple of suggestions would be to mow the grass. It was really high in the front and back yard which made it hard to use the fire pit. We pulled all the weeds in the fire pit but the grass was just too high around it to comfortably sit. Another issue was the house...

« This is our second time staying here. As it was the first time, everything was just right. The space is very clean and welcoming. All you need for a stay is right there. The host is very responsive to any questions. We had snow overnight and they had the sidewalk and driveway clear and safe before we even had a chance to head out. And of course, there is the view. It's just wonderful. »

« This property was charming and quaint. For us two sisters wanting two separate beds, only the 3rd level attic type room was available, which entailed walking up 2 sets of stairs and the last one pretty steep. This was not quite relayed to us when booking. The property has two big pluses: it is only a quick walk to the Main street with lots of nice restaurants and shops AND only 10 minutes to the majestic Luray Caverns. Not sure if because of the time of year, but the patio was not cleaned...

« I had a very pleasant stay in the Farmview Cottage! It was easy to access per the host's directions and instructions, and the host was quick and communicative regarding all of my questions. The cottage looked like the pictures, if just a bit run down in the kitchen (to be expected with a vacation share), and provided a much-needed quiet retreat while I attended and helped set up my friend's wedding nearby. « We were seeking a romantic getaway Valentine’s Day weekend. What we received was anything but. Supposedly the hobbit house was part of the White lotus echo resort spa which included various sauna, spas, cold, plunges, etc. when we got there late in the evening there was no directions no instructions and we finally found the “spa area” where nothing was on, or did not work. But the absolute atrocious part was that there were feral cats running around all over the property, pawing and scratching...
