"This place is a bit further out from Pisa, but we still had a really nice stay and made the most of it. It’s great value for money, which was a big plus. The hotel itself is a little old-fashioned, but honestly, the staff more than made up for it—they were super friendly and welcoming the whole time. The restaurant was also a highlight, with really tasty food that we enjoyed a lot. It’s a good spot if you’ve got a car and want to explore the nearby villages and surrounding area."

I would like to start by saying this place was wonderful. The room we received was #101 and it was clean, large and modern. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffets were excellent. To be honest, for the price you pay and for the room and service you receive I would rate this place as a 4 star, not a 3 star. If I were to have one complaint and it really is not a complaint as much more of a warning, you are a little distance from Florence and Pisa. It takes about an...

Checkig in and out was seamless. Upon getting to our room, I realized the shower had no hot water nor did the sink and shower could not fully turn off. I called downstairs and someone came up promptly to check then we were given another room. I do agree with one review re carpet in hallway. It really should be removed. The villa is archaic with some charm if you like fancy hotels this is not the place for you. I highly recommend renting a car if you want to get around the area--thank God we...
