Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location is great- the view from the balcony is spectacular, short walk down to a good restaurant/bar with an equally spectacular view, 15 min walk along the bay gets you to Coki Beach and Coral World, and a short drive to Red Hook you can enjoy a bunch of good restaurants and a grocery store. The host was also very responsive and sent a very thoughtful introductory email. Some things we didn’t love: the unit is not a true 1 bedroom (there is no door separating the living area and bed), the bathroom also doesn’t have a true door (bamboo curtain…not exactly private), there isn’t a good place to set out your suitcase so you can access it without also tripping over it constantly, and when the wind kicked up there was a LOUD rattling noise made by the sliding glass doors to the balcony. That being said, the main reason we would hesitate to book this specific unit again is due to the bedroom not being able to be closed off from the living area. After putting our baby to bed at 7pm we were forced tip toe around and have the lights dimmed for the rest of the evening so as to not wake her. We would definitely return to this community again if we could find a bigger unit! ##### Lindsey C.
