"Nice Experience"
My children and I really enjoyed our stay at the Ritz. From the friendly personable service, to the cleanliness of the room, we were very satisfied and would stay at the Ritz again and again. We really enjoyed the little things-the nice fluffy beach towels at the pool and beach. The sunblock station with SPF's in all ranges, plus Aloe Gel to take back to your room. Another bonus was the ice water!! We kept hydrated! Snorkeling equipment, and kayaks, were complimentary as the paddle boards. We enjoyed snorkeling Great Bay. Our Bellman DAVID was awesome! He paid attention to our every need, and also cleaned the sand off our floor mats on the day we were returning our rental jeep.

"Nice quiet condo resort"
If you like quiet this is the resort for you. The condo's are hit or miss as far as renovations. We stayed in an older unit close to the lobby, which turned out to be a plus for us. We were only a walk away from the lobby to catch the shuttle into Red Hook. Although there is not much of a beach, if any, the view at the resort left us speechless. There are three pools however getting to the pools isn't the easiest, especially if it rains. The path is rocky and slippery. The staff was professional and excellent. Don't hesitate to ask any question or assistance, they are very helpful! I don't want to mislead a reader by rating the resort all excellent. If you are looking for swimming pools with zero entry, waterfalls, swim up bar this is not the resort for you. Again, there is no beach but you would come to this resort for the view of all the islands.

"Westin st john"
The Westin has a nice lounge at the airport in st Thomas. This is where you will schedule your ferry transportation to St. John. While it is very convenient and efficient, it costs $120 per person for "unlimited ferry rides" to and from St Thomas. My wife and I found no reason to go back to St Thomas until we needed to fly back home. Public ferry to St. John is $6 or $7 per person. You will need a cab to get to the ferry in st Thomas and another cab to get from the ferry dock in St. John to the Westin but you could save some serious money by doing this work yourself. Cab approx $10-20 plus ferry 7 + 7 = $34 (worse case) each way. So $64 versus $240 for Westin to take care of it for you. After you get to the Westin they have free rum punch waiting for you! The resort is fabulous. Without a question the best resort on the island. Staff is top notch, as are facilities. Fine dining and casual dining are available, poolside bar, free kayaks, paddle boards , floats, and a beautiful beach! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Westin. The Marriot has recently purchased the Westin and the resort is going timeshare/ condo so I'm not certain how much longer "hotel rooms" will be available.

"Our stay was fantastic! "
The 2 bedroom villa was perfect for our family of 5 persons. The villa was modern and spacious. There was a kitchen which was perfect. Our kids love the pool. The restaurants were a little pricey but that is to be expected when traveling. We had a great time!

"Very friendly staff"
We arrived late because of Delta having the computer problems. Because of that they upgraded us to a Ocean View room. The view was breath taking. They accommodated us with a private dinner, it may not have been on the beach but the gazebo view was magnificent and our server was very friendly. We even requested him in the Italian restaurant. All I can say that would be a negative is that the buffet was mediocre while the personal dinner and the red snapper I had was done very well. I would stay there again.

"Tropical Setting for Quaint Resort"
The resort is going through a name change to Flamboyan. So we drove past it twice before finally figuring out where it was. NOTE that it is on Mandal Rd rather than Magen's Bay Rd. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We watched an amazing sunset over Magen's Bay from our villa room. The Italian restaurant on the premises is closed on Sunday nights, so Wanda recommended a local restaurant 2 houses up on Magen's Bay Road. The meal was amazing! We also had a wonderful (but expensive) breakfast at the deli on site also and ordered fresh sandwiches from the deli to take with us on our return flight home. We would definitely go back to the restaurants and stay at this resort.

"Great vacation on beautiful beach"
My family and I were almost stunned when we walked into our condo the first time because the view of the beach & Caribbean was absolutely gorgeous! Our condo was a one bedroom suite with two fold out couches so it would sleep six easily. We had a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and stove. We were very pleased with the room and the staff. The property included a restaurant and bar area so that breakfast, lunch, dinner, & snacks were available throughout the day and a small gym area (4 treadmills) that overlooks the bay. Beach chairs were available without charge and there was a store to rent snorkeling equipment, paddle boats, and scuba gear. The snorkeling in the bay was awesome with a lot of colorful fish, both large and small. Great place; I hope to go back soon!
