A little hard to find but worth it!. The view was amazing. The staff very helpful. My only concern was the access, both to the hotel and to the room. The hotel is on top of a steep hill, which is accessed by climbing stairs built in the driveway (unique). And the room has 2 flights of stairs, not a problem unless you are carrying luggage. And yet, even with the access concerns, we would still go back. Lovely place.

"Loved the Morning Star Beach section"
We loved being right on the beach -- would definitely choose the Morning Star Beach section again. Facilities are nice - no serious complaints. There are a few things you look at and ask "is this really a Marriott?" -- like an exposed electrical wire running allow the sidewalk. But overall things were great. Very pleased with cleaning staff and the care they took. Hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. There are restaurants on the property that are not Marriott owned and those staff could definitely use some coaching on customer-service. Contrary to list -- these rooms DO NOT have a coffee maker. They have something that warms water for instant coffee. That is not a coffee maker.

"Great place to spend a few days."
It was so nice to have a clean, cool room to go to after a full day of travel. The facility is a little dated, but very comfortable. The hotel has 3 restaurants to choose from if you want to grab a bite to eat, or a cold drink. The pool is a nice place to hangout. There is a small convenience store that carries basic food items, snacks and sundries you might have forgotten. Be aware that prices are high on almost everything because everything has to be shipped onto the island.

"Beautiful place & wonderful stay"
First I would like to say how relieved we were once we arrived. Some of the reviews had us very concerned about staying a week there. We travel every year with other couples to Key West and I picked this place as a change of pace from the usual trip. The place is very well kept and quite beautiful. The staff was very friendly and the views from our room and from the main restaurant area were simply amazing. Our room was very clean and recently remodeled. The staff was helpful with suggesting activities and arranging taxi service. Everything is pretty close by and a $5-$11 taxi ride away. Rates are posted in the hotel so you know what to expect. The all inclusive package was well worth it. While the food was good not great- there was a huge selection for the pickiest eater. Also the buffet was open from 6am to 10pm and they had a nice late night menu (burgers & pizza) from 10-midnight. The pool area was very clean and beautiful as well. A second buffet with a nice variety runs during the day at the pool as well as a grille area serving burgers and fries. The bars served very friendly pours and some tasty frozen drinks. While not required with the all inclusive, let me tell you... a couple dollar tip here and there goes a long way and is very much appreciated. Enjoy your stay, all of us sure did and can't wait to go back.

"Beautiful area"
You cannot beat the beach at the Ritz-Carlton and the snorkeling in the area is nice too. What I did not like was the food for breakfast at their Buffet totally overrated. They're medium-priced restaurants the pizza shop was decent however staff was very slow to accommodate you

"Gorgeous views, great restaurants"
From check in, to the pool and pool bar, room, restaurants. This place was great. Breakfast by the pool every morning, delish! Tried both restaurants and the food was to die for. Room had fridge, stove, pans, dishes, etc so you can cook in the room if you wanted. Balcony was great with one of the best views I've ever seen. Start to finish I loved it here and will be returning. I even liked the roosters... eventually :)

"Beach was stunning!! "
The location of this resort was perfect, beach amazing, clean. I know they are updating rooms as ours was an older one... Not as pictured on internet but sufficient. Thin walls:):). Could hear our neighbors. We would definitely stay again and we were right in the middle of the beach resort so our was very private And quiet where by the restaurant and the by the check in there were an few more people. Every day It felt like paradise and so safe. Easy to get to restaurants and sopers hole. Highly recommend this place. Thank you!!
