"20 year Anniversary Trip"
We celebrated our 20 year anniversary and had a nice and relaxing stay. We told the front desk clerk it was our anniversary and she gave us a semi beach view with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The room was very neat and clean. We loved the three pools and the staff was very nice and courteous. We ate at the restaurants and a hamburger and fries was bout 18 dollars, but we were expecting everything to be super expensive but it was not. There is also a store to buy snacks and pastries that was not expensive for being at a resort. We only wish there was a cheaper way to get to town and various restaurants. We spend almost $36 on a taxi to get to a restaurant 8 minutes away so we ended up eating at the resort the rest of the trip. Overall it was a relaxing trip surrounded by beautiful scenery!

"Pampered experience; lacks "it" factor."
We splurged during hurricane season and spent two nights at the RC St. Thomas after spending 4 nights near Frenchman's Bay (Villa Marbella Suites) on the island. This is an awesome property: great views, service, amenities, pools, bar and eating options, and beautiful grounds/impeccable rooms. We felt pampered the moment we arrived (welcome rum punch or flavored water to cool you down, and friendly valets), were allowed to change and lounge by the pool while our room was getting ready after check-in. Resort fees included use of a great workout facility, snorkel gear, kayaks, paddleboards, but there were additional charges for use of any sailing equipment. If we had unlimited funds, I could easily settle into purchasing the $5 bagel and $7 coffee for bfast, $19 salad for lunch, or rounds of $15 specialty, frozen cocktail drink of the day. Honestly, the patrons vary from young professionals or newly weds splurging for a treat, to families with babies or college-aged kids, to business travelers, and to obnoxious wealthy people who will never be happy even with views like this. We ended up eating dinner in Red Hook with the locals and other tourists near the Marina both nights (Fish Tails & XO are a must) to save $$. The rooms are great with beautiful views of Great Bay and private balconies, wonderful minimalist art, comfy chairs and beds, etc. The bathroom was my favorite part (marble and glass; great double sinks; wonderful bath products)!

"excellent"
Staff very helpful. Liked the golf cart service to move around resort. Ease of obtaining taxi service. Ideal proximity to beach and pool. Excellent service at pool side. Marketplace proximity was great and food available there was excellent. Snorkeling trip offered by the resort was well done.

"The best place to stay in St Thomas"
I would recommend this place it's in the best location you are on a calm beach with the swimming pool right there to enjoy the ocean view... The staff were the best if you called for towels, etc they were there in seconds. For families with kids they had great activities for everyone to reconnect ..parking was great for those who rent a vehicle and no extra fees... I had a wonderful stay at VI because of Marriott Cove and you also have access to their sister Hotel Marriott for additional amenities and Resturant choices

"Nice hotel with great view from levels 1 2 and 3"
Staff was excellent, pool and view was gorgeous. Kayaks and paddel boards were alot of fun. Selection of food in the restaurants was minimal but delicious and the view from the levels of 4 and up was the view of a roof top. Would only suggest rooms with the front hotel section.

"Tropical Setting for Quaint Resort"
The resort is going through a name change to Flamboyan. So we drove past it twice before finally figuring out where it was. NOTE that it is on Mandal Rd rather than Magen's Bay Rd. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We watched an amazing sunset over Magen's Bay from our villa room. The Italian restaurant on the premises is closed on Sunday nights, so Wanda recommended a local restaurant 2 houses up on Magen's Bay Road. The meal was amazing! We also had a wonderful (but expensive) breakfast at the deli on site also and ordered fresh sandwiches from the deli to take with us on our return flight home. We would definitely go back to the restaurants and stay at this resort.

"Amazing view!"
We arrived at Pleasant Point and were greeted with a friendly staff and rum punch which was delicious. We aren't alcohol drinkers but it was light on the rum so all was good. :) When we got to our unit we were immediately taken with the view of the bay. WOW! We had a patio with table and chairs where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. Since it was a condo we bought eggs so we could make breakfast each morning. An added touch was locally crafted soaps which smelled wonderful. You could even buy a bar or two to take home, from the lobby. Margaritaville is right next door so you can walk along the shore to go to dinner. We didn't try the restaurant on site but did enjoy Margaritaville. We are already trying to figure out when we can return.

"HOTEL WITH A BEACH"
THE WHOLE HOTEL WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. THIS MADE FOR SOME WHAT UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE. THE STAFF WAS AWESOME. THE CONCIERGES WERE VERY HELPFUL WITH PLANNING OUR STAY. THE POOL WAS GREAT. LOTS OF CHAIRS, UMBRELLAS, AND CABANAS TO RENT. MY 7 YEAR OLD ENJOYED THE KIDS CLUB, LOTS OF ACTIVITIES TO KEEP HER BUSY. THE BEACH IS NICE BUT QUIET. NOT MUCH TO DO BUT ENJOY THE SUN AND THE WATER. WITH 3 KIDS THEY GET BORED REALLY FAST. OUR ROOM WAS OK. WE STAYED IN A VILLA WHICH IS FAR FROM THE MAIN AREA. THE MASTER IS UPSTAIRS WITH A VERY SMALL BATHROOM. THE LARGER BATH IS DOWNSTAIRS. THE SHOWER LEAKED THROUGH THE WALL WHICH KEPT THE BEDROOM FLOOR (BESIDE THE BED) WET ALL THE TIME. THE CARPET HAD NOT BEEN VACCUMED UPSTAIRS, AND SOMETHING THAT LOOKED LIKE CHOCOLATE MILK WAS ALL OVER THE WALL AND LAMP ABOVE THE MASTER BED. WHEN NOTIFIED THE MANAGER ACTED AS IF WE HAD PUT IT THERE. THERE WERE ANTS IN THE BATHROOMS. AND WE DIDNT HAVE ANY KIND OF VIEW.

"CANT WAIT TO RETURN"
Amazing location. Split our location between Caneel Bay and another resort. Wish I would have stayed at Caneel the whole time. Best beaches in St John. Awesome scenery and a great staff. One of my favorite spots. We will be back. Probably not soon enough though
