"Beaches on the island were very beautiful! Our resort had a Swim up bar and had very strong drinks! Bartenders were pleasant. The restaurant and coffee shop could be ran better. They were out on a lot of items. Under staffed and took forever for the food to come to the table. Our last day, the restaurant said cash only because the WiFi was down . We paid cash and saw our waitress give the checkout lady the money, only to put it in her pocket! The entertainment was boring and one night a fight broke out. The staff only suggested taxis that charged $15 per person .. that gets expensive with 4 people . Our room was clean just that the 2nd shower head had mold on it. The seaweed problem happens every year, but the hotel reached out an only a week prior to our stay to let us know. If knowing this, it should be stated on their website . This would let people know before booking. And give them an opportunity to rethink their vacation. The smell is bad! Overall the customer service people were very pleasant and easy to talk to.. the guys on the golf carts were friendly. Unfortunately with everything being so expensive here , and the menus being the same at almost every restaurant, we will not be back."

"I rarely write reviews, but I felt this one was important to share. We recently stayed here and unfortunately had an issue with unexpected construction taking place in the building during our stay. The noise significantly impacted our ability to enjoy the property during the daytime, and I was admittedly very disappointed with the situation. However, what happened afterward completely changed my opinion. I reached out to management after our stay and explained my frustration. I made it clear that I was not asking for a full refund—I simply felt the inconvenience should be acknowledged with some reasonable compensation. Their response went far beyond what I expected. They apologized, took responsibility for the situation, and processed a full refund for our stay. I believe you learn a lot more about a business by how they handle a problem than when everything goes perfectly. Problems happen. What matters is whether a company listens to its customers and makes things right. They absolutely did. I also want to specifically recognize Adam, who was extremely kind, professional, and apologetic throughout our stay. I appreciate the way management ultimately handled the situation. They didn't just acknowledge my concerns—they went above and beyond to m"

"Staff brought great customer service. Complimentary breakfast was delicious, the location of the hotel is walking distance from souvenir stores, restaurants and supermarkets. The only thing I do not like, it is a lot of stairs and no elevator. Overall, I will come back again"

"I highly recommend Buoy Haus - my wife and I just stayed there for five nights for our anniversary. The grounds are immaculate. Our room felt like a luxury cottage with two porches and all the expected comforts. The pool service was excellent (thanks Princess!). All of the places to eat (Sugarfin, Isla Blue, etc ) were excellent. We did not even leave the resort during the week because we were so relaxed and Buoy Haus staff made us feel at home."
