We visit SSI many times a year as I grew up in Brunswick and on SSI and my family is still here. One of our favorite places to stay is in Pier Point and this is by far the nicest unit we have stayed in. If you are not familiar with the area, it is in the Village, easy access to restaurant, shops and the pier. Perfect location. Check In was simple and the property management was instantly responsive when I called with a couple of questions. It is perfectly located in the Pier Village with shops and restaurants just outside the gate. I liked that our car was parked in a private, gated area. We enjoyed our coffee each morning on the balcony, enjoying the water just in front of us. We were fascinated by the ocean going ships passing by. We saw several pods of dolphins just in front of us almost daily as well as being in just the right place to observe large groups of pelicans which we learned nest on an island just beyond where we stayed. The ending of each day produced some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen, again from the balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Ocean Pearl, there was no downside for us. We had great views, sunsets and it was close to restaurants and shopping. The beach was within walking distance and absolutely beautiful.
