"Great resort. Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful grounds and close to airport and shopping. Nice casino as well. Food at restaurants were very good. The rooms need to be renovated. They are very nice and spacious but need to be updated."

"Our family loved our stay at Villa Alamandra! We traveled as a family of five with two kids (ages 6 and 11), my husband, and grandma. The villa is gorgeous, spacious, and immaculate. The pool is a major plus; it stays at a cool temperature which is perfect for a plunge after a long hot day at the beach. All the rooms have AC to make it comfortable to sleep at night. None of the host’s photos show the beautiful high vaulted ceilings on the top level; the ceiling look almost like a ship. My kids loved seeing the same family of monkeys that visit the property every day just before sunset. The tap water is totally drinkable and actually tastes good! The villa is super quiet and we felt totally safe. I really cannot think of any negatives about this place; the parking can be a little tricky but you get the hang of it. I highly recommend this villa for families; you will love it! We will definitely re-book this place in the future!"

"Great location. Friendly staff. Reserved a poolside room for 3 nights and 1 night within the same week. The 3 night stay was in an actual poolside room. The drapes were in need of rehanging, but were able to be fully closed. The single night was in a 1 bedroom unit, which may have been an upgrade because I don’t see this offered on Expedia. It was really nice to have a separate air conditioned space from the bedroom. It had a full sized couch in addition to the full kitchen. It would be a preferred unit in the future when I know that others will come over to visit or to have a meal. I would definitely come back."
