St. Elias Convention Centre Tours and Activities

I stayed here for ten days. The room was clean and perfect, Anna I was very happy to be able to use the kitchen on my floor. The proprietor was very helpful, too. Location was also very good - pretty central. The property also has parking, which I made use of.

I'm having a difficult time, trying to figure out how this motel has so many 5 star ratings unless lower ratings are being removed. When we arrived in the afternoon, (approximately 3:00), of our reserved night, the place looked deserted. The office was closed, but my name, room number, and "key is in room" was written on the door. There was a phone number to check in. I called the number and left a message. The room was very run down. Old bedding, no pillow case on the old, flat pillows other than the zip on cover, which was torn on one. The sheets and towels appeared clean. The heater wasn't coming on so I contacted the number. The manager came and said he turned it on, so apparently he needed to flip on the breaker switch. I had to ask for the wifi password which was inside the one nightstand. No comfortable chairs to sit in, (two kitchen table chairs.) We wanted to go eat, but didn't feel comfortable leaving our belongings so we turned around and went back to make a sandwich. No one else checked in that night, so we felt like we were all alone on the outskirts of town, and did not sleep well. Would not stay again. Would not recommend to friends.

Very Nice Accomodations, Walk in shower was real nice. The address was wrong, I had to go to a gas station to get the right address for the property. Their phone to the property did not work. The actual Sign on the property was very small and difficult to read. Had I not talked to the Gas Station Owner, I would not have found the hotel. Once there, all was good.
