Comfort Inn Detroit Downtown

Comfort Inn Detroit Downtown

10/10 Excellent
"I stayed here for two nights when I came into town for a concert. I would definitely stay again next time I'm in Detroit. There is a grocery store within walking distance and I appreciated that the room had a fridge and microwave. The casino and other downtown spots are within a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. It's not in the middle of it all but it's close enough if you don't mind walking. Most things are a very short drive away otherwise. There is a breakfast served until 9:30am and I was surprised at how decent this was. Sometimes hotel breakfasts can be hit or miss but this one had a lot to offer. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The place was CLEAN. The only thing I would note is that it's on a busy road, and you can hear traffic from the street. Not the hotel's fault if a motorcycle is going by, of course, but I was glad I had earplugs as I needed them to keep out the street noise. Otherwise this is a good spot and I would gladly stay here again."
