« An unusual interior layout but excellent in terms of facilities, parking and comfort. Its location is good for access to the Lake District but more importantly the excellent beach at St, Bees which is dog heaven!! The location being next to the railway station(very quiet and not a nuisance) offers the opportunity of leaving the car behind and travelling by rail to nearby locations. Excellent hosts living on site. Highly recommended. »

« After a week camping in awful weather, I wanted to get a place whilst I met up with some old friends, I booked this place on line, and I'm so glad I did! It was very comfortable, clean and very well equipped, the owners are very friendly, and have done a great job in renovating the building into a 5 star accommodation, would highly recommend it »

« This is a very small converted milking palour that is really only suitable for a night or two's stay. While the bathroom is well equiped, it is small with zero shelfing. The bedroom is cramped with one small recess that is unusalble because it's behind the bedside table. There is a third bed, but that's in teh main living area, so if the person using that bed wants to go to sleep, everyone has to go to sleep! Due to the bed in the living space, there's no table to sit at, so if you did want...
