This is an ideal location for great days out for couples or a family, with nearby attractions including Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway where you can take a scenic journey on one of the oldest narrow-gauge railways in England. Discover Muncaster Castle, explore the castle’s elegant rooms, extensive gardens, and enjoy bird of prey displays in the Hawk & Owl Centre. Further wildlife can be found at South Lakes Safari Zoo, home to over 1,000 animals from around the world. Head Coniston Water where you can hire a rowing boat, kayak, or paddleboard and explore the tranquil waters of Coniston Water or Grizedale Forest, where you can enjoy walking, cycling, and even Go Ape treetop adventures.
