"A lake cabin dream come true. Gary and Sandra were attentive hosts and very nice people. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, juice, muffins and a wonderful wild rice and sausage quiche. The decor and ambience were excellent, we love Up North cabin decor and were not disappointed. Everything looked new or almost new, very well cared for. There's a bear and moose motif (mostly bears) and you can look and look and still find new bears in every room each time you pass through. Our bedroom was spacious with many windows, a very comfortable king size bed, easy chairs and a nice table where we played cribbage. The room faced East toward the lake and we had wonderful sunrise views each day. The bathroom was also very large and nicely decorated. Gentle Loon calls at night and in the early morning. An eagle landed on shore during breakfast one morning. We enjoyed the common area playing some pool and finishing a puzzle one evening. We didn't use the boats or bikes on this visit, but all appeared to be in great shape. Definitely recommend this gem."

"This is quite the nice motel. There needs to be some major updating, but that can be quite expensive. However, care and cleanliness is most important, and this place has both. We tend to be picky to protect our health, and Northwood Inn and Suites was great in that respect. Thank you for a good night's sleep! Only needed 1 tv remote, AND the tv worked!! One last item... GREAT hot water AND water pressure."

"This was an amazing location! The plethora of amenities in terms of dishware, cookware, towels and other necessities was so convenient. We were up visiting our adult children and this house provided us with enough space to do meals with 9 adults. Best mini vacation ever!!!"

"It was a wonderful place to stay for winter break. The cabin is cozy with enough space to separate or be together in one room. The property in the winter is peaceful and beautiful. The host is very responsive if you need him and the cabin was clean. The kitchen has all the dishes, pots and pans you need. Bring paper towels or napkins. We would stay again."
