"Clean property and good breakfast"

"Good staff"

"Stopped there for one night and the accommodations were okay. It was a little too pricey for what you got."

"Room was a lot cheaper than some other hotels in Bloomington, and really nice. Staff were incredibly polite, and the lakeside view in the morning is gorgeous. While a bit out of the way, the scenic drive and atmosphere make this worth staying anytime I'm in town."

"staff was very welcoming and rooms were clean"

"It was historic, quiet, simple and priced great. The owners are great and very cordial. The outside of the hotel looks like a palace and has been around a very long time. Love the stone and stone lions."

"It was okay"

"Very good breakfast, excellent staff."

"Nice stay!!"

"We loved EVERYTHING about our stay out The Wampler House."

"The staff at check-in and throughout our stay were great! The neighborhood was transitional with unhoused individuals hanging around the property. Free coffee would have been nice in the lobby instead of waiting in line to purchase from an understaffed cafe"

"The beds were brand new and very comfortable. The room itself was spotless as was the rest of the hotel. The desk staff were nice and the little breakfast in the morning was pretty good"

"A beautiful hotel and in such a great location!!"
