"This is the perfect definition of a small english town stay. I loved the vibe of the rooms and the location. The rooms were clean and they provide complimentary biscuits and tea. The customer service was good as my boyfriend needed to catch a taxi somewhere and couldn’t do it himself so the Inn was able to call for him. The breakfast felt a bit pricy, but there was a cold buffet in addition to any hot item on their menu. Their fresh honey comb was really cool!"

"Pretty impressed with this hotel and we would use it again. Staff were absolutely lovely and gave us a great welcome. Even offered us fresh milk on arrival for a tea or coffee. We were also informed about a wedding that was happening but this wasn’t an inconvenience. The room was lovely and had everything we needed for one night; although the room was very warm. The only real issue was paying to park and my car was completely covered in bird poo, and I mean covered when we checked out this morning. Not really the fault of the hotel but Parking was limited upon our arrival due to the wedding which was fair enough, however had to squeeze into a space under a tree will avoid next time when we stay. Our daughter is in uni so we will be looking for a regular place. Love the whole eco ethos of the hotel as well."

"Had an overnight stay at The Kings Arms. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. There were nice touches like having a Nespresso machine, biscuits and having water and milk in the fridge. It is a 15 minute walk to Christchurch station, which is handy. If you wanted to drive the only thing to bear in mind is that the car park is opposite the hotel and not very big. The staff were very helpful."

I went on my own and treated myself to stay there which yes was a tad expensive but totally worth every penny. My room was luxurious so clean , beautiful. "Corridors have sensor lights, some of which take a while to light up so it can be dark. Housekeeping was fab with clean towels and refreshments replaced every day. Excellent beach front location. Our room this time was on the 2nd floor with a lovely bay window. We have also stayed in the 1st floor room directly below, both are great rooms. Car parking was heavily discounted at an excellent price."
