"This property is a great option to host friends or family in La Crosse! Our group was all alumni and we decided to come back to town for the beer wine and cheese fest. The house was bigger than expected, it had a great yard, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and it was a walkable distance from downtown. Not to mention affordable, especially compared to hotel prices during event weekends. We will definitely be staying here again for future alumni get togethers."

"Six women, who met at UW-LaCrosse 50+ years ago, decided to spend a weekend together celebrating our 70th birthdays. The location was perfect for our activities: visiting UWL, going up Granddad's Bluff, having food & beverages and shopping in Downtown and visiting the Riverwalk. The house was very clean and quiet! Would definitely stay here again! There were no surprises. The house looks exactly as pictured!"

"Other than the fact that we came in the blizzard of Jan. 2024, this place was perfect for us. It had more than ample space for 11 people to sleep. The hot tub was an added bonus for a few of our group. One slept next to the fireplace on our last night. The only downside we had, and thats no fault of anyone but mother nature, was it can be difficult to find on the backroads of Tomah in a snow storm. They did a great job keeping us plowed out. "We loved our stay at the cottage! Very clean and fresh smelling. Well equipped kitchen with nice appliances. Appreciated the bathrooms on each level and quality fixtures. Linen and towel closets are well stocked. The game room was fun and living room has comfortable furniture. We sat on the front porch in the mornings with our coffee and enjoyed the view of Granddads Bluff! Loved the convenient location to the bluff for hiking and drove downtown for the shopping and fabulous restaurants and fun...

"Wonderful property! The host was wonderful and accommodating. The house has large showers, very organized and clean. The yard is meticulous kept cared for! We did some kayaking directly from the property that was not on the main channel so the currents did NOT sweep us away. We will definitely be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND A SUPER HOST!"

"This is the second year we’ve stayed here for a family reunion. The location is the #1 perk of the whole property. Set in a valley with bluffs surrounding it with a creek running through. Just beautiful! The house has enough bedrooms for us all with plenty of space for us to mingle. The owner was so nice in answering my questions …not just about the house but other questions I had about the area. I’m so glad we discovered this gem!"
