Older motel nicely renovated and super friendly owner. Highly recommend.

Really nice owners. Nice outside sitting area with misters. Excellent breakfast!! They are good cooks & lots of selections - home made baking was outstanding ! The parking area is gravel so a bit sketchy on motorcycles & a tight blind corner to get out onto the road, but we managed. There are 3 bars with food & a great brewery but only the Saloon had friendly staff. Beautiful scenery east of town!

Short overnight stay. Great little spot and wonderful service. Room was modern and very clean. A bit on the smaller side but still perfect for one night to rest my head after a long day of driving. Wouldn’t hesitate to return if I come through the area again!

Rooms are outdated but very clean

We had 4 nights at this property and loved everything about it immediately. The check-in was quick and friendly and efficient, with a package of local activities and dining options ready for each guest with their key. There is an outdoor pool with an adjacent shaded sitting area that is super quaint with potted plants, beautiful hanging baskets and cheery painted rocks. The walkways and outdoor areas are kept as clean as the rooms. The lobby is chock full of everything you could need,...

We stayed in the Pee Wee Airstream for a different experience. It was cute and clean; nothing fancy, but we knew that when we booked. Communal bathroom was large and clean. a/C and heat in the trailer was great we were very comfortable. Overall if you’re looking for a basic accommodation in Salida at a reasonable price this is a good choice.

Great location, nice large rooms, breakfast was incredible.

This was a great location right in the downtown area. Hotel was good and clean. Absolutely no complaints. Hotel was as represented on the website. No surprises. Would stay here again.

Very clean modern comfortable room with friendly helpful staff.

Clean, quiet, helpful staff, coin laundry, beware of bears. Would stay again!

Great location. Nicely decorated. Refrigerator and microwave great. Nice bathroom. Great service. Snacks for breakfast were a bonus. Room is very compact, perhaps a smaller table. Air conditioner works well but blows into wall so difficult to get a good temperature. Easy parking.

The owner was very friendly & welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The fridge & microwave were a bonus. The Continental breakfast had great variety. Across the road from the train station for those doing the Royal Gorge train trip - we did. Close to excellent restaurants. Five Star!

Management was great! The stay was very comfortable.

La chambre était très propre. L’arrivée autonome a été facile. Nous avons adoré notre séjour de 2 nuits au Altus

Clean well maintained and upgraded rooms. Staff were super friendly. Great breakfast and amenities. Would definitely stay there again.
