The walk to beach from Gemstones is fairly steep but there are two other routes. It’s not an issue to sway a decision to stay here. "Close proximity to the beach, some restaurants nearby. Was disappointed that it took 3-4 phone calls to speak to the owner or front desk as our internet was down for 3 days and therefore could not turn on the TV or wi-fi. No basic amenities such as sugar, salt…as well no large bowls for salads, only bread knife, very small frying pan and no baking sheets or casseroles to bake food in and specially no CUTTING BOARD! Otherwise the area we were in was good. "
