Top South Plainfield Hotel Reviews

Madison Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We have been going to this hotel once or twice a year to visit relatives and spend time in New York City for many years. The rooms are always clean, the staff efficient and helpful. We take the NJT train to NYC (it is walking distance to the hotel) so no need to find a parking spot, trains run often and drop you at Penn Station. Their breakfast buffet (included) is real scrambled eggs, beverages, cereals, toaster items and pastries, always so much better than the usual fare at 'franchise' motels and food and beverage at the attached Red Dog tavern is also superior."

Hampton Inn Newark Airport

8/10 Good

"Newark airport is challenging. Everything is packed close together but the road and light rail system is circuitous. Don’t stay at a hotel because it’s close to the NJ transit station. You have to take a hotel shuttle back to the airport and then AirTran. $9.60 for a bottle of beer from the cabinet in reception seems like gouging"
