Room was perfect for us. Although we were there for only one evening, it was centrally located to the historical district, had great amenities which allowed us to wash all our clothes as we had been living like nomads for a couple of weeks. Highly recommend.

Exactly as advertised. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and newer decor. Close to Maastricht train station and an easy 10 min walk to the town historical center. Hôtel checkin is in the bar/restaurant on main floor and quite easy. Lot’s of restaurants, cafe and other retail close by.

I arrived late last night by train and then by bus to Vaals. A Sunday night, it was quiet in town and quite tranquil. An older gentleman from the bus was very kind and directed me a few blocks away to the hotel. When I saw it I was stunned. This castle hotel sits behind iron gates and hedges on a large, rolling green estate. It is a stunning edifice that pulls you back in time to a life of splendor that few had the privilege. My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights. What a beautiful little place to stay. We would definitely stay here again. The room was very comfortable, and certainly not your usual hotel room! Attic room, with sitting area and a nice bathroom. The breakfast was a feast. We usually don't like springing for a hotel breakfast, but were not disappointed. Highly recommend Les Charmes
