"Stayed 1 night in September 2024. As a frequent traveller, I always ask hotels for a Ground Floor room, near to reception, as I have three heavy bags to carry. Usually this request is ignored, but on this occasion, the allocated room was ideal. Very helpful 👍 Good size room, nice breakfast selection. Lovely grounds. Only downside was the bathroom had no heating, and was quite cold. Overall, very pleased, and will book again. "

"A friend and I stayed for 2 nights. We simply wanted a break. We went to the pool, steam room and sauna. When we arrived the door to our room was open and could not be shut. The lady at reception resolved this immediately by giving us a different room. "
