All I can say is “what a view” every morning we woke up to the beauty of Thomas Pond. Every night we went to bed under a sky full of stars. The home is a perfect lakeside retreat. Comfortable for our family of 3 and 2 more guests in the guest house. We could have all stayed in the main home but the separate homes was perfect for our situation. Fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking off of the pier every day was so much fun. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed! It was a bit hotter while we were there (unseasonably I believe) and so we definitely used the window air conditioners. Very well situated (walking distance from Kennebunkport center in a calm residential spot), the house is incredibly charming and cozy, with a "rustic chic" vibe, super clean and well equiped. The host is exceptionnaly fast to answer questions and to be sure that everything is OK and that we enjoy the stay, with tons of little details / attentions for us. It sent us to Scarborough instead of Saco. Luckily we were familiar with the area and I knew that Saco was close to Old Orchard Beach, which was mentioned in the listing, so I did a google map search of the same address in Saco and it looked like the pictures. My elderly parents were relieved that we didn’t get scammed. Lol. The place was clean and large and easy to get on the highway.
