« A spur of the moment trip with my mom turned out to be the perfect spot for a long weekend. This little efficiency is clean, has everything one could need with a fully stocked kitchenette, spacious bathroom, a cozy bed (a double, snuggle up if you're not alone) and a covered patio to enjoy the outside. Convenient to Sparta, NC and Independence/Galax, VA and very near a river access. The owner was very responsive and communication was great. I would definitely choose to stay here again if...

« We arrived Thursday night to a wonderful place that was exactly what was described. The room was so welcoming, and detailed with the traveler in mind. The next morning we awoke to a rising creek and hurricane Helene’s wrath. We lost power, trees were falling around us and the water continued to rise. « This bright and clean little apartment was ideal for our Damascus stay; the kitchen is decently equipped, there is enough living room area for three or four people, and the beds are comfortable. Getting in and out is easy with the electronic door codes. (Note that it is second floor, up one flight of stairs, but stairs are wide and not steep and there are sturdy handrails on each side.)
