Very special place, we can’t wait to revisit. Lovely, quaint room with lots of storage. Beautiful restaurant and homey pub. Location is simply perfect.

10/10 stay, one of our favourites during our trip to Scotland! Perfect location and the food on site was amazing!if you are looking for a cozy night in this is the place!

Room was clean. Shower excellent. Bed very comfortable. Fabulous view from our room. We ate at the restaurant both nights-because food was very good. Staff friendly and working well together. Breakfast excellent/efficient and we were the only ones at 730 am. Fish and chips and lambs Shepard’s pie best so far. Biryani was definitely exceptional.

This is a lovely inn on a hilltop overlooking the water. Everything is very well maintained, the food fantastic, and the room had everything we needed. What makes it stand out is the staff- they were welcoming, professional, kind and friendly- going over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. Recommendations for meals and outings were always presented. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

It’s a bit of a further drive to the sites to the north, however the area is very beautiful. You feel like you live in Scotland the condo has everything. We got groceries which is close by the condo 5 min drive and made romantic suppers with an amazing view. Great for star gazing. Super modern. Was the highlight of my trip and strongmy recommend to anyone

Everything about my stay was superb, the food was amazing, the room very comfortable, The staff all lovely and incredibly helpful!

Lovely hotel/inn to stay at! The staff were excellent and quite helpful - even with our late arrival. Very comfortable room with private bathroom with shower that works well. Breakfast in the morning was quite good! Thanks for the lovely stay!

Everything we needed for a good nights rest, comfortable and clean.

I had an excellent stay at the Sligachan Hotel. The hotel is steps away from breathtaking scenery for walking or hiking and a quick bus/car ride to Portree for shopping and dinner. Martin, the manager, was so helpful and kind. He drove my friend and I from Portree to our train because the bus schedule that day was not aligning well with our train schedule and morning activities. He also gave us great tips on the best things to do on the Isle of Skye and made sure that all of the guests were...

What a beautiful area. Marion went above and beyond to help us navigate our day and get us back to the Portree area. Thank you for a wonderful (albeit unexpected!) adventure.

Beautiful place.

The Balmacara hotel was a great place to stay near the Isle of Skye. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was great and the restaurants supper choices were very good. Would recommend as a place to stay.

Great place and lovely people.

Convenient location, good price, excellent food,
