"One always hopes that the actual lives up to the pictures. This house exceeds that. Absolutely spectacular. The host could not have been nicer and accommodating. Helped us arrange a private chef come in and prepare a dinner. All I can say is it was worth the cost. Chef Frederico was incredible. The road in and out was a little challenging but that just added that much more charm. The ease of getting to different beaches and site seeing made the location perfect. We would definitely do it again....

"What a lovely property in the country yet close to the many sights of Sintra! It was also easy to/from Lisbon. We loved having fresh eggs to collect for breakfast, and enjoyed all of the traditional artwork and furniture that added to the charm of the house. Clean, comfortable, easy check in & out with prompt communication—would highly recommend!"

"The location and setting was spectacular! Talk about eye candy!! It was fun watching the surf and the flow of visitors as well. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant Agua e Sal a very short walk from the house. Hosts had a small clay chorizo grill which we used to grill the black pig chorizo we found at the supermercado atlantica which was located just south of praia de maca. Delicious! "Nicely located with views to the moors castle. The building inside has a lot of character and management has been able to keep it very historical. Only comments i would make is that there is a point of gathering of tuk tuk motos directly in front of building and the giys can get quite noisy. Also i side apartme nt some towel hooks to hang after shower can be nice and simple to do"

"The house is nice and the price for the 2 bedroom was reasonable. The view was nice on a hill. Wifi was good. Amenities were fine with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and more. The house was clean. The only issue we saw was that one of the walk in closets had mold on the walls so we could not use it. Also hot (or even warm) water was not available all the time. I think the boiler was too small for the number of people they had in the house. Communication was good and check in was...
