"This is not a chain hotel. We started from Norman, Oklahoma. Our trip was full of delayed flights, rebooking, lost luggage (still haven’t been able to locate with Iberia Airlines) just about everything that could go wrong went wrong. I contacted Chalet Saudida to let them know we were still coming just a lot later not realizing the office closed at 10:00 pm. Thank goodness Cynthia was working that day. We arrived about 10:45pm but Cynthia was still there. She stayed until after 11:00pm to make sure we knew where to park, how to get in if we went out, where our rooms were, she was the best thing that happened to us in a 72 hour time frame. What an asset Cynthia is to the property and a great representative for the Chalet Saudida. Thank you Cynitha you get a 10 star plus rating"

"Nice old property, would need help for maintaining the place. The humidity causes plants and grasses to grow all over the walls outside. The place is close to the main attractions and the breakfast is complete, with a variety of choices."

"Hotel was upscale with very nice terrace rooms. They offered good dinning choices for breakfast lunch and dinner if you chose to stay on. The are right in the centre of the old town which offers many dinning options on all budgets. The hotel is hard to find as the old town is situated behind barriers which requires a QR code to enter which is supplied by the hotel an hour prior to arrival. But if you blink near the entrance it’s another 20 minute drive to go around again."

"Although we arrived a little late the staff was more than willing to help us. The location is right in the middle of everything. You can walk to restaurants and right by the trails (it's still quite a walk) to the National Palace and Moorish Castle. Our room opened up to the street so there was quite a bit of street noise, but I didn't mind."

"Parking issues. Preferably bolt or uber to all destinations once you park at their garage which is down the hill. 10 minutes walk back to hotel. 60-70 steps up. Location is very good. Food n local vibes good. Across queen palace so many tourists around. Over all beautiful experience"
