"I had a very enjoyable stay at The St. Regis on the Bund in Shanghai. The hotel has an elegant atmosphere, a great location, and overall provides a very comfortable and pleasant experience. The breakfast was good, with a nice variety of choices and good-quality food. I also visited the hotel bar during my stay. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was pleasant, although I would say the drinks were good rather than exceptional. One area that could be improved was the room-cleaning service. On a couple of occasions, I needed to call by phone to request that my room be cleaned. It would be great if the housekeeping service could be more consistent and proactive in the future. I would especially like to give Derrick Hu a high level of recognition for his outstanding help and hospitality during my stay. Derrick was exceptionally attentive, professional, and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and that I felt well looked after. His warm and genuine service made a real difference and truly enhanced my stay. Overall, I had a very positive experience at The St. Regis on the Bund. While there are a few areas where the hotel could improve, Derrick’s excellent service stood out and made my stay particularly memorable. I would be happy to return and would recommend the hotel to others visiting Shanghai."

"We were really excited to stay at Mandarin Oriental Shanghai, and it more than lived up to our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the care and service from the staff were exceptional. Our room was huge, beautifully presented and had the most incredible views across the city and the Huangpu River — a view we’ll genuinely never forget. Every day we returned to find the room serviced immaculately, with an impressive level of attention to detail throughout our stay. For a hotel of this standard, we also thought the value for money was outstanding. Everything about the experience felt genuinely five-star, from the room itself to the warmth and professionalism of the staff. It was a fabulous stay from start to finish, and we would return to Mandarin Oriental Shanghai in a heartbeat."

"This was a great hotel, excellent location, opposite the Shanghai tower and walking distance to all the main attractions. The rooms were also excellent. The only bad point was we had 3 in one room and needed an extra rollout single bed that was uncomfortable ( Rock hard mattress) but would highly recommend"

"The location is perfect to go see the Bund and surroundings and very close to the Yu Garden. Breakfast is quite well assorted, and coffee available all day. For the rooms they provide you with bottled Aquafina water every day included in the price plus 3 beverages each day also inclusive. The Wifi is the only amenity that could be improved, but perhaps that may not lie in the hands of the hotel. I believe that may apply to the available tv channels as well."

"A truly amazing hotel! The pool had such an amazing view of the skyline and pearl tower. The location of the hotel is so convenient for public transport and it was so easy to get a Didi as well. The room was spotless and the staff were so helpful, I would recommend staying here!"
