Stay here. you will be pleased
Very large room compared to other hotels in this area. Wonderful service and very clean. We ate at the roof top restaurant every day. During our stay they have food specials on Saturday and Wednesday, do not miss!!!

Friendly and helpful staff
Very friendly staff who want to make sure your stay is a memorable one! The front office helps you arrange a tuk tuk driver, make a reservation for the Apsara show, organize day trips etc. Rooms are clean and breakfast buffet changes daily.

Lovely hotel, short walk to the old market.
Hotel had everything we needed and staff were friendly and helpful. Pub street and the markets are easy walking distance and hotel will organise tuk tuk for any activities further away.

Nice staff, good restaurant
As there's not much to do in Siem Reap the location didn't really matter, however it was 15 min or less walk from the night market (which is nice). Staff was available to any sort of request or question. The room was big. The pool wasn't clean at all and we couldn't use it.

Nice place with a great business model. Good deal, comfortable and helpful staff. Downside was the air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night for each of the four nights of our stay. Otherwise a pleasant place to stay in SR.

4 good nights
It's an oldish style hotel but friendly helpful staff. Large clean room reasonable bath room but could do with some upgrade. Overall good value for money and we hired a Tuk-Tuk driver associated with the hotel his name is Bounthon (may not be the correct spelling) very friendly good english took as to all the temples and anywhere we wanted to go, knows good clean restaurants also. Very reasonable price and upfront no surprises.Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel close to everything.
Friendly staff helped us when needed. Meals not expensive. Wednesday $1 night for all drinks and tapas. Can't say enough good things about the experience here and it was the cheapest hotel of our stay at $25 a night for double.

I have been staying at Soria Moria off and on for 5 years. I have stayed at other hotels but Soria Moria always feels like home. the staff is friendly and helpful. The room are spacious and clean and you can't beat the location. There are a few things in the room that occasionally need attention but, it's a great value and there was nothing that affected my stay. I'd recommend this hotel for business or seeing the sights.

Friendly very helpful staff could arrange transport and entrance to any of tourist attractions. Able to suggest places,sites to see and good restaurants . Would recomend to any vacationer

Great location, quiet. Unfortunately, the rooms and facilities were a bit disappointing and are in need of repair, leaning and improvements. The beds were uncomfortable, and the room and bathroom were not very clean. Breakfasts were a bit inconsistent; okay some days and not others. We did speak with staff about our concerns and they tried to be helpful.

Good location great staff clean spacious rooms
The hotel staff and the accommodations were very good. The breakfast was good and the the room was spacious. The hotel provided a free pickup at the hotel for me by tuk tuk and were waiting for me. There are bikes available for hire right outside the hotel which was very convenient. But if walking , the hotel is in a quiet area but easy walk to DT Siem Reap . I will stay there again next time to SR

We stayed here 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a bit run down especially the pool. Housekeeping is kind of hit or miss but overall fairly clean. The staff is very helpful and welcoming but be aware that what you book will have a mark up but that's for the ease of not having to book yourself! Restaurant and roof top bar were never full except at breakfast. Our room came with breakfast that was large and varied.

Pleasant stay in quiet area
We spent two nights in August 2016. The hotel was close to two bike tour companies we were planning to use. We were also intrigued by the hotel being 51% staff owned and wanted to support local business. The hotel is located on the east side of the river, away from the bustle of Pub street, but a short 10 minute walk if you really wanted to go there. The view was not spectacular (it faces away from the river), but it was fairly quiet. There were some nice restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as some cheap local shops. The room was clean and comfortable, though the bathroom decor could have used some refreshing and bath linens consisted of two thin towels (no mat or wash cloths). We paid a little more for a deluxe room, a got a large corner room on the top floor. We had dinner and drinks at the roof top restaurant and both were quite good. The first night the AC was not functioning, so we had to open our windows, which helped a bit. (It was too late when we discovered the problem to call anyone to fix it.) The next morning, though, they were right on it. Breakfast was adequate. I enjoyed a nice afternoon swim in their small ground floor outdoor pool. Another good service note: We had a late flight out and while we needed to check out at noon, we were allowed to take a quick shower after a sweaty afternoon bike ride.

this hotel is run by the people and staff who all have a vested interest in it, i.e. shares in the hotel. So everyone has a reason to do their best, which I think they do, sometimes the training could be better... however the location is brilliant, far enough away from centre to be quiet and still near enough to be accessible for a short stroll into the market area and the pub st. bars and restaurants. Wed. night tapas is a great idea and lots of fun for all staff and patrons. All staff are very helpful and front desk organise anything.....Would definitely stay here again....

Smelly room!
Very reasonable price, nice big spacious room but there was a very bad sewage smell constantly coming from drain in bathroom. Staff provided spray air freshener which helped a bit, but only masked the smell temporarily. Staff said smell was because of rain. My room was on ground floor. Perhaps would not be a problem on upper floors, so maybe if you stay here, ask for a room on higher floor. I hesitate to recommend this hotel due to smell. Breakfast buffet had good yogurt, cereal and fruit. Hot choices weren't very good; heavy and greasy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel supports training and employment for disadvantaged people so it's nice to know that they help the community. Staff helped arrange tuk tuk drivers for visiting temples. Location is great, a little away from the noise and chaos of Pub street but close enough to walk easily to old market area and many restaurants, spas and attractions.

This hotel is a tremendous find and highly recommended for service, value, cleanliness and above all helpfulness of staff. From the moment we checked in, we felt 100% confidence that we would be well taken care of and could get great advice on what to see in the area. The hotel even provided us with a boxed breakfast to go when an early morning tour prevented us from eating the complimentary breakfast offered in the restaurant.

Decent hotel. In need of updating linens - ours had holes. Nice staff but our experience was somewhat soured when they charged us twice as much as the bus company when they arranged our ticket to Battambang. We would have expected something of an up-charge but 100% felt gratuitous.

I arranged transport with the hotel for airport pick-up but nobody turned up. It only cost US$5 to get a tuk tuk, and anyway, I still enjoyed the ride down town. I told reception about not being picked up, and they immediately compensated me with an upgrade to a really lovely room. The reception also included a welcome drink. The staff were all friendly, and spoke good English. Hotel was clean, safe and in a good location. They will also arrange a breakfast box if you have to get up in the morning. Although that failed to appear as well. But it wasn't a big deal! The arrangement for a tuk tuk to take me back to the airport was a little late. I thought it was free, but i was charged US$6. Despite that, Soria Moria Hotel is a REALLY lovely hotel, and the staff are earnest about providing a good stay. I would still recommend booking this hotel.

Bad start. I received an email stating we would be picked up at the airport. No one came. We had to negotiate a SIM card to call and were told to take a cab. Then we were given 4th floor rooms with no help with the bags and no windows. Gee. Not sure whether we had superior or deluxe rooms but these were neither.

Nice reasonable hotel in the heart of town.
They have a small but nice pool, very refreshing. Nice tuk-tuk driver there, Mr. Chim. He will take you to see the temples. Also a fun rooftop bar there, good place to watch the sun go down. Good staff!

The pros: Its close to pub street ( about 5mins walk) and was alot cheaper than all the other 3 star hotels near pub street. Staff was friendly and were really heapful when we had questions we needed answered. The cons: Bed sheets wasn't clean and had dirty marks on it. And it wasn't changed during clean up. We saw the same marks on the same area after clean up. Shower water was muddy dark brownish colour. Everything else was average. about what you would expect from a 3 star hotel.

The receptionist was very gentle and helpful in arranging our tour, her name is Tra. Also we needed to extend our stay but the hotel was fully booked so she kindly help us to book another hotel nearby and even offer free breakfast for us. The entire group in Salita Hotel were all very helpful. I would gladly recommended others to Salita Hotel.

The highlight was the driver they arranged to Angkor Wat. (Yai was awesome!) The hotel is massive and sort of old school, but nice. The customer service was lacking. They had offered a driver to meet me once my bus arrived from HCMC, but there wasn't one. Also, they said they would arrange a breakfast to-go for viewing sunrise at the temples, but when I arrived in the lobby at dawn to catch my driver, the front-desk worker was sleeping and said I would have to wait for him to fix it. I opted to head out rather than miss the sunrise. Also, the bank closes early and the front-desk doesn't really volunteer that info, so make sure you convert your money during their open hours.

Room was nice and clean, air worked great. Restaurant has great tapas for only $1. Good location that was easy to walk to everything, maybe a 10 min. walk to Pub St. Breakfast was one of the better ones I've had in Asia, so very good by comparison to others. Met an American who lives there full time and he says it's the best breakfast in town. Although I didn't use the pool, it looked a little small with chairs that would not be comfortable for laying out. Staff was very accommodating.

Great hotel
The best thing about this hotel is the philosophy of the owners and its positive impact on the local population. Other than that, everything is great. The rooms are big and clean, the food is great, and drinks on the rooftop bar are quite cheap. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall one of the most satisfying hotel stays I've experienced. If you're going to tour the temples, the hotel has several affiliated tuk tuk drivers that are available outside. Take a tuk tuk, and you won't be disappointed. The hotel works with reliable drivers, and they will take care of your sight seeing for the whole day for a reasonable fee.

Loved it here. Great service and the rooms were large and comfortable. The food on the roof bar was good too! And great they offer 50 percent off on special evenings! Didn't use the pool but we did use the fitness room. It's small by exactly what you need for that satisfying workout after weeks of travelling and eating out!

I stayed here for about 7 nights and my whole experience was a positive one. The staff were all very polite and helpful, the room was big and comfortable with all mod cons. There were 2 big windows giving a lot of light, a welcome change from some of the rooms I've stayed in without windows. The breakfast was include in the price and was very good, with a wide selection of foods. The hotel is only a short walk to the main market and popular areas in town, yet far enough to be peaceful. When you take all this into account and consider the price, it is undoubtedly excellent value !!I would definitely stay here again. Thank you everyone at Soria Moria !

Tremedous value close to center
I stayed in Soria Moria for five nights. The room was very big, with plenty of space to sit and put stuff. Air con was very efficient, shower was great. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included, and had a very good selection. I ate in the hotel restaurant once, which was also very good. The only thing I could possibly complain about was that the Wifi signal wasn't always strong enough in my room, but in the lobby it worked fine. Overall extremely good value for money, I thought!

Excellent minus the unreliable wifi which was irritating but never the less the staff was super friendly, helpful, and very accomodating. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend people to stay here. The food was also good in addition the hotel gives a lot back to the community and the employees have a 51% share ownership-giving them more incentive to do a great job. So minus the wifi issue-great stay! And Sam is a real sweetheart!

This hotel is very friendly and well run. Its clear there is a touch of the Scandinavians about this hotel in the style which make it a little different. Very friendly and helpful staff.
