Located on a quiet, southwest-facing section of Messalonskee Lake, it’s the perfect place to relax and watch the beautiful sunsets. The accommodations are very well taken care of, clean, no odors, and comfortable. Enjoy the sound of the loons at night and the easy walk down to the lake. The landlord is responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the canoes, docks, plentiful seating area to read a book and watch the lake, and large grassy area for games during our stay. The property is shared with 3 other camps. Little privacy but other renters were friendly. Steep hills to walk up from the beach area. Steep stairs to walk up to the loft. Other renters are able to use the downstairs washer and dryer so lots of early morning wake up from other campers noise. The owners are extremely nice and accomodating. Friendly campers offered us fried dough on our first night. Another camper offered us a beautiful sunset cruise on the pontoon boat. The lake water and beach area are very clean and beautiful!
