This is the perfect rental cabin if you're into ATVs as the trails are right out the back door of the cabin. Plus there are a lot of great fishing spots near by. The cabin is very cozy and feels like home. In the back of the property you will find a fire pit as well as a grill. The cabin has all linens included, a full kitchen, washer/dryer, cable TV and more. The back yard area is a great place to sit, relax, watch the stars and maybe even view the northern lights! The cabin is just minutes from so many great attractions. During your stay be sure to go to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore where you can take boat or kayak tours of the Pictured Rocks. While in Munising be sure to get a map of all the local waterfalls and if you are really adventurous take a climb down the Log Slide Overlook. Just a few minutes outside of Munising, in Christmas, there is the Kawedin Casino. With in an hours drive of the cabin is Marquette and Manistique. We enjoyed a wonderful time visiting waterfalls and taking a day trip to copper harbor. The home is located in a nice quiet area with no loud neighbors. It was like heaven. Many of the towels were frayed or just plain worn out. It would also be great to have a dish rack for drying dishes. Otherwise this place has everything you could need. Great location for exploring the UP!! So many waterfalls SO CLOSE!! Our main focus was Pictured Rocks and Munising is a short drive for touring! It is about 15 minute from Munising/Picture Rock so it was pretty convenient to get around the area. Tammy was very responsive and very nice to communicate with. The house is very "homey" and comforting. We did not spend much time at the house, as we took our SxS's up to ride the trails. You can easily access the trails literally right around the corner from the house. This was a great little get a way over the holiday weekend! Everything was within 10-15 minutes away.
