« Checking in was fast. Staff were professional and pleasant. Clean overall. However our room had a broken curtain rod and the curtain was stained. Air conditioner was very loud making it difficult to sleep throughout the night. I believe this property is non-smoking, but there were people outside the main entrance smoking. We had to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter a non-smoking building….I didn’t appreciate that as a non-smoker. No breakfast at this motel. »

« The rooms were clean and comfortable. The property is under construction but very conveniently located. Unfortunately, the noise outside at the restaurants across the street was extremely loud and made it difficult to sleep. »

« Nous avons passé deux nuits à l’hôtel et dans l’ensemble, nous étions satisfaits ! Néanmoins, nous avons trouvé quelques poils dans les literies, et, la propreté des toilettes n’était pas parfaite ! Le personnel d’accueil à l’écoute, et , souriant ! « Traveling for leisure, requested a handicapped room as I walk with a cane. At no time did the person checking me in ask me to confirm what room type I had requested, I got a standard 2 dbl bed room with a tub. I requested a walk in shower. I thought it was odd that the front desk manager rather than walk around the desk to address a computer issue was sitting on the desk to fix the matter, but it was apparently easier. « The shower head in room 4 barely spit out any water. The kitchen was closed which defeated the point of it being a bed and breakfast experience. The pool was also not working due to some pump issue which I was unaware of until I arrived. I was under the impression that there was a fully functioning, kitchen and fully working pool. when we got there, we waited about 20 minutes until somebody finally came to check us in after I had to go looking for help. »

« Motel standard, calme. Grande chambre, lit correct. Peu de couverture, et nous avons eu froid dans la nuit (nous aurions pu allumer l’AC, en fait). Environnement calme, route peu passante. La television de la chambre d’à côté était assez audible (et a fonctionné toutela nuit). A 08h30, le « buffet » du « petit dejeuner » (probablement 2 tranches de pain de mie) était complètement pillé, personne en vue pour avoir quelque chose à manger. Comme le motel n’est pas cher, cela fait rapport...

« Great environment, and Hiram is a very friendly host. Our family of 4 has stayed at the "bridge cottage" (unit "109" out of 8 (?)) for 2 nights, in a very relaxing place (forest/pond/pool). We were looking for a place to rest between big cities' craziness and the cottage was a perfect fit. Wifi was terrible though, barely functional. As long as you don't mind an overall rustic/shabby feel, you'll probably have as good a time here as we did. Worth noting, Hiram answered all our questions really...
