« Bring an air horn and/or bear spray. We were visited by a black bear all three days of our trip. We weren't prepared for that. The first night it got in our vehicle five minutes after arriving and found an unopened jar of mayonnaise. The next night it was waiting for us in the dark by the steps (the lattice around the deck was busted out--probably by the bear, and that was where it was hiding. I almost had a heart attack. « Great place to stay! They had maintenance on the pool that had to be done while we were there. They property manager called us to let us know they would be coming, maintenance people were faster and got there before we got a call, but they did call and explain what was going on and were so friendly. That is only time we had to talk to property management and they were awesome!! 10/10 would recommend and will stay with the company again! »

« This house was a glorious blessing to all of us!!! It has so many amenities that if the weather is bad or you do not feel like going out you can swim, hit the hot tub, relax in the sauna, watch a movie in the theater room or rock in the rockers by the fireplace and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. « Photos show a red couch and loveseat and they are still there but covered. I assume to hide wear or damage. Was not able to watch the living room tv due to some programing issue . Some remotes had I dead batteries I think. I did not contact host because we did not come to gatlinburg to watch tv,but Need to attend to this for future guests. overall we enjoyed our stay. That said I would urge some updating. The hot tub cover is falling apart, the outside wicker chairs did not look safe to sit in. »
