HOTEL THE BOTANIK SEWOON MYEONGDONG

8/10 Good

"Hotel itself was great, room was also fantastic. But 1) view was poor (view of multiple demolished buildings). 2) we had a suite with kitchen appliances etc, but the room was without even simple cutlery/utensils etc. these were chargeable to the room to “hire”. 3) The room wasn’t cleaned everyday, despite them saying it would be at least every other day. 4) the staff refused to let us leave our luggage with them for 30mins upon checking out whilst we waiting for our taxi to the airport, and they said this would also be chargeable. Only after making a plea to them, they held the luggage for us, otherwise they were going to make us pay for it. Overall a good stay, great breakfast, great location, but not so great offerings elsewhere as mentioned above."

"The hotel is nice and central surrounded by public transportation and only a 10 minute walk from tourist attractions and there is a convenience store attached to the store, the rooms are comfortable and spacious and offer a good view of the city, friendly staff, there are multiple restaurants inside the hotel which provide a nice variety of tasteful food,"

"Very old small rooms. Only stayed 2 ntes. Expensive for what u get but location was convenient for trains from airport if u exit the right exits. Shower door doesn’t properly close so water can get out. The Safe didn’t work but staff fixed that right away. The aircon worked great. Beds very very hard. They had plugs on table that fit our North American plugs so that was bonus."

"We stayed 3 nights. Convenient location for transportation, food, and shopping. Modern and calm decor. Soft and comfy pyjamas and bedding. Good amount of amenities provided in room. Excellent variety of food for buffet breakfast. Hotel umbrellas for loan to guests. Helpful and friendly staff."
