"Excellent location, 10 minute drive from Split airport, we hired a car at the hotel and drove to the beautiful Krka national park which took an hour. Rooms were newly refurbished and very spacious. We were half board, dinner was excellent plenty of choice. My only negative would be that some of the staff were rude. The pool bar staff were very friendly though. We had 2 children under 5 with us, they loved the childrens splash area. "

"Checkout was at 10 am. I as there only for one night, got in on a late flight, so I was essentially kicked out after a 10 hour stay. No exceptions to the 10 am rule. No late checkouts or optional fee. No service at the front desk the next day to get a taxi. "

"My worst nightmare. Buyer beware. There are 2 Jadran hotels, same name, entirely different locations. Taxi driver took me to wrong location. Then taxi back to right location. Euro 120 later and late. Hotel old, dated and inconvenient if you have luggage. Rooms very basic, not unlike my Grandmother's guest cottage, complete with English print on the wall and fabric from the 60s at the windows. They had held a plate for me as a late arrival. "The hotel is huge, has 8 floors, accommodates many guests, which is an industry. Guests are treated by conveyor belt. The hotel is in a great location, to the sea 110 steps. The beach is great, good access to water, with showers, several food and drink bars available, deck chairs and umbrellas available (rent of 2 deck chairs and umbrella daily 80KN / 10EUR). From the beach a great link by boat to nearest Trogir (30KN return ticket). The hotel is old, but a little renovated. Breakfast is modest....

"I liked staying here as it was quiet and safe. It had a lovely sea view as well. The staff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was very good and they cooked eggs to order which was a bonus. If you opt to not stay within the palace walls, this is a good, close option. It was only about a 5 min walk to the Riva and the palace. Very easy to get to the port for the island ferries as well. The next time I'm in Split I'll stay within the palace walls for the experience and convenience, but this hotel met my needs at the time. "
