"There was a mix up with this property. They don’t take Credit Cards, only cash. The proprietor was very kind and accommodating and made an exception. "Sunny, the host, was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. Located just outside of a bus stop that easily took you into Split center city. Gorgeous views from our balcony. This is more of a boutique-style BnB, so bringing your own body wash and shampoo is recommended. If you forget, there’s a small Tommy’s (grocery store) less than a 10 min walk from the hotel. Would stay here again and again! "

"We had a really lovely 2 week stay here in Podstrana. The appartment was very spacious and very well equipped. Our hostess Marija was on hand if needed. "I liked staying here as it was quiet and safe. It had a lovely sea view as well. The staff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was very good and they cooked eggs to order which was a bonus. If you opt to not stay within the palace walls, this is a good, close option. It was only about a 5 min walk to the Riva and the palace. Very easy to get to the port for the island ferries as well. The next time I'm in Split I'll stay within the palace walls for the experience and convenience, but this hotel met my needs at the time. "
